Pringles launched “The Rising Stars” in which pro-players are pitted against casual gamers in four different Fortnite games. The pro-players are given random events to slow them down to even the odds for the casual gamers.
Mapshot created five new Fortnite maps to support Pringles' "Rising Stars" campaign.
The central lobby, linked to the other four Fortnite islands, was a Pringles flavor market. Pringles released a new game and a live stream every three weeks.
In each game mode, the leading player receives a "Rising Star" moment. This moment is a random event that evens the odds, such as obstructing the leading player's view for a few seconds so that the other players can catch up.
For Pringles Rising Stars, we created interactive maps that brought the excitement of the live show into the digital world.
These maps allowed not only event attendees but also viewers at home to join in on the action, creating a truly immersive experience for everyone, regardless of their location.
